Mexico 2019, Day #2 - Monday Market in Guayabitos

Monday, March 4, 2019

Some of us slept in this day since we knew we had an early day the next day. Since we slept in so late we just had coffee and got ready to go to the market in Guayabitos which is 11AM-1PM.

We bought some jewelry from our regular guys, Charlie and Moises, and stopped for lunch at Anahi's. They make great tacos and the chef was a nice appetizer for the eyes ;)

Los perros :) sleeping in the shade

Pinada! (Virgin pina colada)

Sooooo delicious.

Group selfie with Christine wearing her new Fray Bans (knock offs haha)

The main street in Guayabitos, same street Decameron is on.

We walked to Decameron to say hi to Javier who works at the hotel, who the ladies have become friends with as well.

A gorgeous sunny day

We spent the afternoon on the rooftop and went out to a pizza place for dinner. Salvador stopped by in the evening to confirm our plans for the next day.

I picked up some Fray Bans myself, can you tell which ones are the legit pair? I love mine but I hate having to be so careful with them. Even though they were a gift I try to take very good care of them.

I went for a walk with mom and Lorna down the beach in the afternoon. We found some critters washed up on the beach.

Dead puffer fish.

The fish shop beside our condo would take the fish cuttings to the beach every afternoon and the pelicans would flock in for dinner.

A beautiful sunset to end our second day in Mexico.

Day 3 is driving to Guanajuato.
