Maui 2016, Day #6 - Haleakala Crater and Luau

Thursday, February 4, 2016

Thursday after breakfast we packed up the van and headed out to Haleakala Crate. It was breath taking up there.

In the evening we went to a luau and headed home for jammies and hanging out again.

People biking up the mountain. They must have been crazy!

This is overlooking Kihei, the area our condo was in.

We stopped for a picnic on the drive down.

Walking through the resort to the luau

Cannibals...

Uncle Dwayne bought us ladies leis made with REAL flowers. They had some little bugs in them but they smelled AMAZING.

The vegetarian options - I do still eat fish occasionally so I had to have some when it's so fresh.

The weather looked like it was going to be crappy but it turned out to be a nice evening.

At the end of the night I asked my dad to take a picture of me and the firethrower and he was like, "K!" and he goes and stands beside the guy and poses with him lol. Clearly he misunderstood that I wanted MY picture taken with him haha.

This is where we went for the luau.
